The team behind Wild Northumbria has lived in and explored this amazing county and surrounding wildernesses, covering all types of habitats including roaming hills, ancient forests, colorful fields, golden beaches and Islands.

Having spent years traveling on the North Sea and around the county, the founding team knows all about its environment and everything that is part of its ecosystem, more so than most.

We have seen a huge rise in visitors to Northumberland over the past few years and with this, an increased interest in the conservation and ecology of the area. We want to help drive this interest further and we aim to play a big part in protecting the wildlife and the environment that surrounds us, here in Northumberland.
